Personal Ministries
Personal Ministries is a facet of the church whose origin can be traced to the beginning of Seventh-day Adventist history in the 1860s. It endeavours to inspire, motivate, equip, train, and mobilize all members for dynamic Christian service with the conviction that “The church of Christ is organized for service” (Ministry of Healing, p. 148) and “Every son and daughter of God is called to be a missionary; we are called to the service of God and our fellow men” (The Ministry of Healing, p. 395).
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."
~ Matthew 28:19 ~
How We Serve
The Personal Ministries Department prepares members to share the gospel. Annual and regional training events are held on how to give Bible studies, volunteer for mission service, and conduct evangelistic campaigns. Other ministries that function in cooperation with the personal ministries department include small groups, church planting, natural church development and various internal church departments.
